RECOVERY OF STOLEN LIVESTOCK AND ARREST OF TWO SUSPECTS IN ISIOLO

Following a report made at Basa Police Post concerning livestock stolen from the Bonji Dam area on 30th August 2025, a multi-agency security team promptly responded to the incident. On Sunday, 31st August 2025, the security team successfully recovered forty-one (41) animals, comprising 16 sheep and 25 goats, and arrested two male suspects in connection with the theft. The suspects are currently in police custody awaiting arraignment in court, while the recovered animals are being held at Basa Police Post pending handover to the rightful owner. The National Police Service (NPS) reiterates its commitment to working closely with local communities and security partners to combat banditry, protect lives, and safeguard property.
