OPENING CEREMONY OF THE 2025 EAPCCO ORGANS MEETING

The 2025 EAPCCO (Eastern Africa Police Chiefs Cooperation Organisation) Organs Meeting officially commenced with an opening ceremony held at the Rwanda National Police (RNP) Headquarters in Kigali. The event was inaugurated by the Inspector General of the Rwanda National Police, Commissioner General Felix Namuhoranye. Distinguished delegates from across the region are in attendance, including Mr. Mohamed Amin, Director of Criminal Investigations, Kenya, along with other members of the Permanent Coordinating Committee representing EAPCCO member states. The high-level meeting, which began on Tuesday, May 22nd, is scheduled to run through Friday, May 24th, 2025. Over the three days, participants will deliberate on strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening regional cooperation in combating transnational crime, enhancing intelligence sharing, and fostering joint operational capabilities among member states.
