INSPECTOR GENERAL DOUGLAS KANJA ATTENDS PRESENTATION ON DIGITIZATION OF POLICE SERVICES
Inspector General of Police Mr. Douglas Kanja today, January 22, 2025, attended a presentation by the NPS Digitization Committee at the NPS Headquarters, tasked with driving the digitization of police stations and services, aims to modernize operations to meet the changing demands of policing in the digital age. In his remarks, the IG underscored the critical role of digitization in transforming police stations into centers of excellence in service delivery and effective policing. He highlighted the need to digitize the Occurrence Book and introduction of instant fines and ticketing systems, particularly for traffic offenses. Also in attendance were DIG KPS Mr. Eliud Lagat, Director General of e-Citizen Amb. Isaac Ochieng, Secretary Administration/Accounting Officer NPS Bernice Lemedeket among other senior NPS Officers.
