KANJA SWORN IN AS THE 5TH INSPECTOR GENERAL NATIONAL POLICE SERVICE

Mr. Douglas Kanja Kirocho has been sworn-in as the 5th Inspector General National Police Service following his appointment by HE President William Ruto and successful vetting by the Senate and National Assembly. IG Kanja took his Oath of Office and Oath of Secrecy between 1132-1138 hrs in a brief ceremony presided over by the Chief Justice and President of the Supreme Court of Kenya, Hon. Martha Koome at the Supreme Court of Kenya.

Mr. Kanja is the former DIG Kenya Police Service. Other dignitaries present include Vice Chairperson National Police Service Commission,  Dr. Otuala, PAS Office of the President,  DIG KPS Eliud Lagat, DIG APS Mr. Gilbert Masengeli who is also the former Acting IG, Director DCI Mr. Mohamed I. Amin,  Secretary Administration/Accounting Officer Bernice Lemedeket.
