IG-KANJA INSPECTS THE NPS EXHIBITION STAND AT MOMBASA INTERNATIONAL SHOW 2025

The Inspector General (IG) of the National Police Service, Mr. Douglas Kanja, yesterday conducted an inspection tour of the NPS stand at the Mombasa International Show. He was accompanied by the Director, Directorate of Criminal Investigations, Mr. Mohamed Amin. The IG was warmly received by the officer in charge of the NPS exhibition stand, Mr. Richard Lesasuyan, AIG, who also serves as the Director of Planning for the National Police Service. During the tour, IG Kanja commended the officers for their meticulous organization. He reaffirmed his commitment to advancing the digitization and modernization of the Service, noting that these efforts are crucial for enhancing efficiency and excellence in public service delivery.

Also present during the inspection were the Director of the Internal Affairs Unit, Mr. Boniface Maingi, SAIG; the NPS Spokesperson, Mr. Muchiri Nyaga, AIG; the Director of Planning and External Linkages APS, Mr. Lawrence Owino, AIG; the Coast Regional Police Commander, Mr. Ali Nuno, AIG; the Regional Administration Police Commander, Mr. John Macharia, CP; and the Deputy Director of Reforms DCI Ms. Betty Chepngeno, CP; among other senior officers.
