IG KANJA ATTENDS THE 15TH RECSA TECHNICAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING IN NAIROBI

Inspector General of Police, Mr. Douglas Kanja today November 22, 2024 attended the 15th  Regional Centre on Small Arms (RECSA) Technical Advisory Committee meeting, held at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Nairobi. The event was officially opened by the Prime Cabinet Secretary/ Ag. Cabinet Secretary for Interior, Hon. Musalia Mudavadi, who in his address called upon all the 15 RECSA Member States to commit to honouring the vision of cooperation, embodied by the Nairobi Protocol, through action and policies. RECSA is an intergovernmental organization established to coordinate action in preventing, combating and eradicating the illicit manufacturing, trafficking, possession and use of Small Arms and Light Weapons in the Great Lakes Region, Horn of Africa and Bordering States. Also present was PS for Internal Security and National Administration/Chairperson of the RECSA Technical Advisory Committee, Dr. Raymond Omollo. IG Kanja was accompanied by NPS Spokesperson, Dr. Resila Onyango, AIG.
