H.E. President Dr. William Ruto Launches NPS Strategic Plan 2023-2027

His Excellency Dr. William S. Ruto C.G.H President of the Republic of Kenya and Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces, today, December 13, 2024, launched the National Police Service (NPS) Strategic Plan 2023-2027 and that of the Correctional Services, at Kenya School of Government-Lower Kabete. In his address, the President said that he has full confidence in the leadership of NPS, and commended all NPS Officers for their dedication to their mandate in national security, and called upon  members of public to respect and support Police. H. E. the President reiterated his commitment to modernization of NPS, through implementation of the Maraga Taskforce recommendations,  aimed at improving the terms and conditions of service, digitization, housing, and provision of vehicles for Police. The launch was attended by several government officials, including PCS & Ag. CS Interior,  Hon. Musalia Mudavadi, PS Internal Security, Dr. Raymond Omollo, Inspector General of Police, Mr. Douglas Kanja, other dignitaries, development partners, and NPS Officers of all ranks.
