FORMER CS INTERIOR PROF. KINDIKI SWORN-IN AS DEPUTY PRESIDENT, IN A CEREMONY WITNESSED BY PRESIDENT DR. RUTO, IG KANJA

Former Cabinet Secretary for Interior and National Administration, Prof. Kithure Kindiki, was on Nov. 1, 2024 sworn-in as the 3rd Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya. The event held at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre was graced by His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Kenya and Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces, Dr William S. Ruto and was conducted by the Judiciary. Inspector General, Mr. Douglas Kanja, also led NPS Officers to witness  the swearing in ceremony, of Prof. Kindiki who has been the Cabinet Secretary in charge of NPS for the past two years.
In his address, H.E. President Dr. Ruto called upon public servants to serve with professionalism, and directed Police to collaborate with all investigative agencies, to deal firmly and decisively with corruption and rising cases involving murder of women. Also present with IG Kanja was DIG- KPS, Mr. Eliud Lagat, DIG- APS, Mr. Gilbert Masengeli, DCI - Mr. Mohamed I. Amin, Commandant GSU Mr. Ranson Lolmodooni, SAIG among several NPS Commanders.
