DIG KENYA POLICE ELIUD LAGAT OPENS NEW POLICE STATIONS IN FUNYULA

Deputy Inspector General Kenya Police Service, Mr. Eliud Lagat today, November 22, 2024 was in Funyula, Busia County where he officially opened  Ganga Police Station, Namuduru Police Post and Bukiri Patrol Base, all built by NG-CDF funds. Present were MP for Funyula Constituency, Hon. Dr. Wilberforce Oundo, Busia County Commissioner- Mr. Mwachaunga Chaunga, Regional Police Commander Western- Mr. Kiprono Langat, AIG and members of public. Mr. Lagat thanked the political leaders for supporting Kenya Police and assured them together with the members of public that the Officers will work with the locals to enhance security and service delivery in the area, DIG Lagat made an impromptu stop at Sio-Port Police Station, where he directed Police Officers to remain focused on service delivery to the public. He was accompanied by senior officers including KPS Director of Logistics, Mr. Peter Ndung'u, SAIG.
