IG KANJA BRIEFS CS MURKOMEN ON ONGOING NPS REFORMS

Today, 12 February 2025, the Inspector General of National Police Service, Mr. Douglas Kanja, made a comprehensive presentation to the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and National Administration, Hon. Kipchumba Murkomen, at Harambee House, Nairobi. The briefing covered key issues, including strategies to accelerate the ongoing modernisation of the National Police Service, policy and legal reforms, automation of services, improvements in working conditions, and enhancing the operational capacity of the Service. Also present during the presentation were the Principal Secretary for Internal Security and National Administration, Dr Raymond Omollo, Secretary Administration/ Accounting Officer NPS, Ms.Bernice Lemedeket, DIG-KPS, Mr Eliud Lagat, DIG-APS, Mr Gilbert Masengeli, Director of DCI, Mr Mohammed Amin, and other senior officers from the Ministry and NPS.
