DIG-KPS JOINS CONGREGANTS AT MAGADI FIELD TRAINING CAMP IN EASTER CELEBRATIONS
Today, Deputy Inspector-General of the Kenya Police Service (DIG-KPS), Mr. Eliud Lagat, joined staff of the Magadi Field Training Camp and other congregants to celebrate Easter at Goshen Church within the camp. DIG Lagat thanked them for the warm reception and expressed his gratitude to officers serving across the country, particularly for their sacrifices during this period when many would prefer to be with their families. He also thanked the local community for their support and encouraged them to maintain a peaceful working environment with the officers. Following the church service, DIG Lagat held a meeting with the Magadi Field Training Camp staff, where he commended them for their excellent work as trainers and for aligning the institution with the Inspector-General’s mission to transform police institutions into centres of excellence for operations and service delivery. He emphasised that this mission begins at training institutions. Later in the day, the DIG visited Magadi Police Station, where he praised the officers for maintaining a clean station and surroundings—a step towards delivering excellent public service. The DIG was accompanied by the Commanding Officer of the National Police Service College, Embakasi ‘B’ Campus, Mr. William Samoei, AIG, and was received by the Officer-in-Charge of Magadi Field Training Camp, CI Hezron Olunya.
