CS INTERIOR HON. MURKOMEN JOINS NPS OFFICERS FOR INTERDENOMINATIONAL PRAYER SERVICE AT EMBAKASI A CAMPUS
CS Interior and National Administration Hon. Kipchumba Murkomen, today, January 12, 2024, joined NPS Officers and their families, led by IG Douglas Kanja for an interdenominational prayer service at National Police College, Embakasi A Campus. Together with the CS Murkomen were PS Internal Security, Dr. Raymond Omollo, DIG Eliud Lagat - KPS and DIG Gilbert Masengeli - APS. The Sermon delivered by the Chief Chaplain APS, Bishop Dr. Evans Kibet ASP focused on building our faith in Christ Jesus by drawing the scriptures from the book of Proverbs 18:21.
CS Murkomen thanked all NPS Officers for their sacrifice and patriotism in protecting our country, including the progress that has been made through multi-agency security Operation Maliza Uhalifu that has led to significant reduction in cattle rustling in the North Rift Region.
CS Murkomen assured his full support to NPS leadership and NPS reforms, including the ongoing modernization of police equipment, digitalization of the OB, and improvement of police welfare including mental health, housing and motor vehicles.
