CRACKDOWN ON NARCOTICS INTENSIFIES IN KIMININI

Yesterday, 27 July 2025, a multi-agency team comprising police officers from Kiminini Police Station and NACADA officials, acting on intelligence, raided a drug den in Kiminini Shopping Centre. During the operation, three suspects were apprehended and found in possession of four and a quarter sacks of Cannabis sativa. The suspects were placed in custody at Kiminini Police Station for processing awaiting arraignment in court, while the exhibits were securely stored at the same facility. The National Police Service appreciates the close collaboration with members of the public in providing intelligence and urges continued support in combating illicit drugs.
