RETIRED POLICE OFFICERS HOLD 7TH GENERAL MEETING WITH Ag. IG MASENGELI IN NAIROBI

Today August 28, 2024, retired NPS Officers are meeting at NPC Embakasi "A" Campus for the 7th National Association of Retired Police Officers (NARPOK) General Meeting. NARPOK Chairman, Mr. Japheth Mwania appreciated NPS top Leadership led by Ag. IG Masengeli for hosting the NARPOK 7th General Meeting. Today's Chief Guest is former Commissioner of Police, Mr. Shadrack Kiruki who retired nearly 30 years ago, and who in his remarks, stated that the Board of Trustees is working to streamline welfare of retired Police Officers. Ag. IG Mr. Masengeli in his capacity as the patron NARPOK, urged serving Officers to begin preparing for retirement on their first day of recruitment. 

Mr. Masengeli reassured that NPS doors remain open to support NARPOK, sentiments that were also given by DIG Kenya Police Mr. Eliud Lagat and DCI Mr. Mohammed I. Amin. Also present is former Commandant GSU- Mr. Samson Cherambos, Former Senior Deputy Commissioner of Police II-Mr. Lawrence Mwadime, former Director NPS Headquarters-James Mwaniki, Otieno Osur, Musa Yego, Former Police Spokesman Hon. Jeremiah Matagaro, Pauline Adhiambo, Stanley Mutungi, former NPSC Commissioner Mary Owuor, former INTERPOL Officer Mary Kaol, Dola Indidis, William Meto, Kasusu, former Regional Police Commander Western, Peris Muthoni, Chairman Wajir Chapter Osman Fankey,  and Head of International Police Association Kenya Chapter- Mr. Shuaib Adam. NARPOK Board of Trustees include all retired Inspectors General, retired Commissioners of Police,  Retired Directors DCI, Retired Commandants GSU, and retired Directors General NIS. Commandant NPC Embakasi "A" Campus, Mr. Davis Lomwatu, SAIG and NPS Spokesperson Dr. Resila Onyango, AIG are also present.
