DIG-KPS MAKES IMPROMPTU VISIT TO KABETE POLICE STATION

On 22nd September 2025, at around 1920 hrs, the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Kenya Police Service, Mr.Eliud Lagat, made an impromptu visit to Kabete Police Station as part of his routine inspection tours. During the visit, DIG Lagat was received by the Dagoretti Sub-County Police Commander, Mr. Kivinda Kilonzo, SSP, alongside the Dagoretti Sub-County Criminal Investigations Officer, Mr. Adan Bagaja, SP.

He inspected key areas within the station, including the Report and Inquiry Office, the Gender and Children Office, the Armoury, Traffic Offices, and the male and female cells. Addressing officers at the station, the DIG commended them for their dedication, vigilance, and professionalism in service delivery. He further emphasised the need to intensify operations against crimes such as phone snatching, which remains a challenge in the area.

The National Police Service reaffirms its unwavering commitment to enhancing police officers' welfare, improving service delivery to the public, and strengthening community policing initiatives to ensure safer neighborhoods.
