19 STOLEN GOATS RECOVERED IN IGEMBE NORTH, MERU COUNTY

A multi-agency security team recovered nineteen goats yesterday, on 9th October 2025. The recovery took place in the Nakuprat area of Ngaremara Location, Isiolo County. The goats, which had been stolen from the Akongolo area in Igembe Central Sub-County, were handed over to their owner after he positively identified them. Meanwhile, efforts to apprehend the individuals connected with the theft are ongoing. The National Police Service remains steadfast in combating banditry and other illegal activities.
