Welcome To National Police Service

The constitution of Kenya 2010, Article 243 establishes the National Police Service consisting of the Kenya Police Service and the Administration Police Service. it states the objectives of the National Police Service to include striving for the highest standards of professionalism and discipline, preventing corruption, promoting and practising transparency and accountability among others. The independent command of the NPS is placed upon the Inspector General. The Kenya Police Service and the Administration Police Service are each headed by a Deputy Inspector General whereas the Directorate of Criminal Investigations is headed by a Director.
