HAPPY HOLIDAYS GOODWILL MESSAGE FROM INSPECTOR GENERAL
Christians and Moslems all over the world are observing their respective Holy Months, a time both religions observe deep reflection, fasting and good community deeds.
Christians are coming to the end of their Holy Month – Easter, as the Moslems commenced their Holy – Month – Ramadhan- recently.
Therefore, as the National Police Service joins our brothers and sisters in the two religions in their observance of the Holy Months, and wishes them good health, happiness and peace, we would like to assure the public of their utmost security and safety during these times of festivities on one hand and electioneering on the other. Both occasions deserve a high level of security provision from us in law enforcement – a deed we shall perform optimally. Equally, the occasions require a high sense of personal security consciousness on our collective part.
The National Police Service therefore urges all members of the public to exercise caution and be mindful of personal security during the period. Let us all also be each other’s brothers’ and sisters’ keepers. Further, we further appeal to the public to collaborate and share suspicions timely with the police or through our police hotlines 999/112/911 and 0800722203 to fichua kwa DCI for our prompt interventions.
Finally, the Inspector General of Police takes this opportunity to wish esteemed Kenyans and all officer and partners Happy Easter Holidays.
