SOCIAL MEDIA ALLEGATIONS ON ASSAULT BY POLICE.

The attention of the National Police Service has been drawn to allegations doing rounds in the social media on alleged assault by police on members of the public in an estate within Nairobi.

We wish to clarify to the public that the incident had nothing to do with the enforcement of curfew orders. The information we have is that certain individuals attending a night party within the residential area caused disturbance to the neighbors who reported the matter to the police for action.

AWASI FATAL TRAFFIC ACCIDENT.

The National Police Services wishes to inform the public that yesterday 3/10/2019 at around 2300 hrs, there was an unfortunate fatal traffic road accident at Pala area in Awasi, along the Kisumu Kericho highway.

MR. ABDIWAAHID KHALIF ABDI ALIAS ISE TARABUUN (2019-09-28).

 

The National Police Service wishes to inform Mr. Abdiwaahid Khalif Abdi alias Ise Tarabuun (pictured above), a Somali national who is believed to have arrived in Kenya on September 24th 2019 to report to the nearest police station with immediate effect. Any person who has seen him or has information about him should also do the same immediately.

EAPCCO GAMES - AUGUST 27TH T0 SEPTEMBER 2ND 2019.

Kenya, through the National Police Service is honoured to host this year’s EAPCCO games in Narobi, Kasarani stadium. EAPCCO in full stands for: East African Police Chiefs Cooperation Organization.

It was founded in 1998 in Kampala, Uganda during the maiden meeting of police chiefs from the region. EAPCCO is a police cooperation mechanism which brings together 14 countries: Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Ethiopia, Somalia, Eritrea, Djibouti, Sudan, Seychelles, Comoros, South Sudan, and Democratic Republic of Congo.
