The Ministry of Education is currently carrying out afour-day training of teachers on the competency based curriculum following the roll out of the new 2-6-6-3 system of education in January 2019.
A few individuals have however threatened to disrupt the training exercise that is going on across the country.

A ROBUST INTERNAL AFFAIRS UNIT TO DEAL WITH COMPLAINTS AGAINST POLICE (2019-04-18).
The Inspector General of Police Mr Hilary Mutyambai is committed to revamping the Internal Affairs Unit (IAU) with a view to making it robust to conclusively deal with corruption and other complaints against the Police.
Mr. Mutyambai said the IAU whose mandate is to Police the Police officers, is geared towards instilling discipline and professionalism in the service.
