Police Hot Lines
The National Police Service commenced it's inaugural National Police  Service Week  at the Railway Club Nairobi where the police officers started  showcasing their policing activities to members of the public. 
The historic event was officially launched  by the Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiangi who said, the NPS Week should be made an annual event. 
Dr Matiangi observed that the high calibre exhibitions by the officers were a clear manifestation that the Police were on the transformation trajectory. 
He  called upon the officers to stick to the law while discharging their mandate and appealed to wananchi to observe the law to ensure the safety and security of the country. 
The Inspector General Mr. Joseph Boinnet who also spoke during the event,  said, the NPS Week provide an opportunity for mwananchi to freely interact with officers and learn more about the service and the current reform process. 
Mr.  Boinnet said.the NPS was  committed to be a world class police service that offers people centred police services.
The Inspector General said the NPS is transforming to  an effective, efficient and responsive service providing a peaceful environment for National development. 
During the three day event that ends on Saturday,  Mr Boinnet appeales to the public to visit the exhibition and  give suggestions,  criticisms and even share compliments to make the service better
