Police Hot Lines

The Inspector General of Police  Mr. Joseph Boinnet today received 541 reflective jackets and 504 stab jackets, a donation from a Police organization based in UK known as National Police Aid Convoys.

The donations were made through the International Police Association (IPA) Kenya Section President Mr. Otieno Osur.

While receiving the donation, Mr. Boinnet hailed the International Police Association (IPA) Kenya Section for developing an international network for the benefit of both serving and retired Police Officers.

The Inspector General of Police Mr Joseph Boinnet has reiterated the commitment of Police officers to respect the rights and fundamental freedoms of wananchi while discharging their mandate.

Mr. Boinnet said, the promulgation of the 2010 constitution coupled with the ever changing social, economic and political environment, has made it imperative for the Police officers to operate with decorum to endear themselves to the public they serve.

The National Police Service (NPS) will attach 200 police officers to reinforce the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) to restore order and reduce carnage on the Kenyan roads.

The Inspector General of Police Mr. Joseph Boinnet said this today while signing an MOU with the NTSA at his Jogoo House Office.

He said, the MOU will go a long way in achieving the common objective of a safe, reliable, efficient transport system and proper enforcement of Traffic Laws in the country.

The National Police Service congratulates three of its senior officers who completed their one year course at the National Defence college.
Mr. Caleb Mairura Agonga, AIG,  Mrs. Jostine Machuma Barmao, CP and Mr. Sospeter Njue Munyi, CP successfully completed their course and were each awarded the National Defence College Certificate and authorised to append the title “ndc” (K) after their names.

So far, 28 statements have been recorded from various persons, some of who are the immediate family members, including the wife who has recorded her statement.
She confirmed that she had in her possession the firearm that belonged to her husband, which has been surrendered for safe keeping.
