PRESS STATEMENT

The National Police Service would like to thank Kenyans of good will for continuing to work with security agencies in the fight against all forms of crime, especially terrorism and drug trafficking. Arising from our collaboration, we have foiled numerous terrorist plots to infiltrate into our country to stage attacks, and arrested several terror suspects and drug dealers, many of whom have appeared before court.

THE NPS ATHLETICS SPONSORSHIP

The National Police Service, Athletics Championship, has received a boost after receiving sponsorship from three organizations totalling to 2.2 million.Huawei Kenya Limited, donated one million shillings while Police Sacco gave shs. 700,000 towards the three day athletics championships that kick off tomorrow at Nyayo stadium.

UASIN GISHU AND BARINGO INCIDENT REPORTS

On 16th May 2017, in Uasin Gishu County, Eldoret East Division, a report was made at Kapsoya Police Post of three missing children. On receipt of the report, the Police commenced immediate investigations to look for the missing children namely: Clifford Nyambane, Tanny Nyamweya and Glen Ongaki.

BOINNET COMMITED TOWARDS PEACEFUL ELECTIONS

The Inspector General of Police Mr. Joseph Boinnet has reaffirmed the commitment of the National Police Service (NPS) to provide a safe, secure and peaceful environment for the 2017 General Elections.
